Our Values

We feel that company values should be aspirational and that behaviours like ‘professionalism’, ‘integrity’ and ‘determination’ should be expected from the outset. Our first 3 values were set in 2008 and remain valid to this day. We added our 4th in 2021. They are;


Candid

We encourage direct, open and honest communication both internally and externally. This is not the same as simply being blunt or unfiltered. We promote candour with a constructive approach that allows us to give meaningful advice to clients and candidates, and to speak openly up and down our organisation. The outcome is that decisions can be made based on reality, and any changes as a result can be impactful. It also means that our employees can feel heard and see their feedback taken seriously.


Creative

We encourage our teams to think laterally whenever possible. Whether trying to identify solutions for our clients or, when targeting the right opportunity for our candidates, we see it as important to try and challenge the usual expectations. We also want to think differently about how we build and improve our own processes and we urge our employees to bring new ideas to the pipeline.


Connected

A recruiter's job is about being connected to their market. The deeper their connection, the more successful they become in exceeding our client’s and candidate’s expectations. Whilst this is obvious, what often seems lacking in our industry is effective internal connectivity. We have built a cultural, operational and reward framework that drives our staff to work closely across teams. We celebrate this behaviour and see it as a way to bring further value to clients and candidates,

buy ensuring any engagement with us harnesses the full extent of our knowledge and network.


Caring

We have always believed that the work environment should be a place where our teams can feel like they belong and, that they know that the organisation is looking out for their well-being. This value also relates back to our vision and the ‘duty of care’ that we mention when dealing with candidates and clients. We encourage our employees to lead each engagement with empathy and understanding. This value then extends out into the community via our social purpose.
