ConnectedGroup is partnering with a fast-growing global consumer goods ompany to recruit for a Supply Chain Director to look after its international markets. The role is going to be based in their Hong Kong office.
This is a key leadership position in the company where you will be managing 10+ people in the Client Services and Planning teams and working very closely with the Heads of Sales based in their Hong Kong and Europe offices. Reporting directly to the President, your role will be particularly important in leading and strengthening demand planning, SOP and order fulfilment planning processes and client services management.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of around 10 years' experience in supply chain in multinational FMCG, retail or consumer goods / consumer electronics companies. You will be very skilled in planning, logistics, process improvement and managing customer requirements and expectations. Exceptional people management abilities are key ingredients to success in this role. We are looking for a very good people manager who is able to be empathetic towards his/her team members, and has the right balance between being hands-on and strategic. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also important requirements of the position.
We will prioritize candidates who are based in Hong Kong and speak Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese).
