Strategy Director (FMCG, HKD1.5M)

Our client is sizable global FMCG manufacturers and distributors. With the aim to expand and grow the Greater China business, they are now looking for a Strategy Director to analyse and recommend growth strategies as well to support implementation of plans and initiatives.

Act as an in-house strategic business consultant, this incumbent is expected to:

Partner with senior stakeholders including general management across different business units, functions and location, primarily China, to formulate corporate development strategy and strategic business plans

• Work alongside with internal and external stakeholders to conduct market researches, extract insights to identify, assess, recommend and comment potential business development opportunities such as commercial partnerships, M&A and new technology investment
• Formulate business strategy, develop business proposal, conduct white space analysis and feasibility studies to evaluate new business development or market entry project opportunities
• Support the transaction execution of the growth strategies by valuation, negotiation, due diligence, and terms documentation
• Provide advice and support to business unites on the executive of growth initiatives
• Initiate, drive and support projects contributing on sustainable business growth on an ad hoc basis

Successful candidates should possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in a renowned university, ideally with Master's Degree
• 10 years' consulting experience, either within top-tier management consulting firm covering Consumer practices or within inhouse FMCG environment
• At least 4 years of business development and consulting experience in the FMCG industry with solid knowledge about the China market
• Demonstrated ability on preparing investment valuation and managing end-to-end transaction process
• Excellent in project management, presentation and dealing with C-suite executive
• Proactive, collaborative, result-oriented individual with strategic and systematic mindset
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
