Strategic & Project Assistant (MNC)

Our client is an international business which has over 70 year's history with global presence. They are looking for a Strategic & Project Assistant to join their global team.

Position Responsibilities

  • Serves as a trusted partner, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.
  • Partners and collaborates with peers and direct reports to manage cross-functional initiatives from conception to completion
  • Effective calendar management, advanced planning and preparation of leadership team meetings internally and externally, including but not limited to townhall meetings, off- sites, vendor webinars, one-on-one meetings, etc.
  • Event management - organization of quarterly meetings, volunteering events, off-sites, webinars, summits etc.
  • Creation and editions of document (Word, PPT, Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to support the direct report across the full spectrum of their work
  • Work with cross-functional teams in the definition of project scope and objectives and resourcing, as aligned to company's strategies.
  • Manage synchronization across all dependencies.
  • Provide oversight to project progress, issues/risks and decisions required.
  • Manage execution of initiatives ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Manages all executive correspondence; directing or responding to customer and vendor communication.
  • Expense management duties.
  • Oversee department budget.
  • Other administrative duties as requested.

Position Requirements

  • MBA and Master Degree holder is strongly preferred
  • Consulting background candidates are highly preferred as well
  • Solid administrative or project management experience; with experience supporting C-level executives
  • Learning agility and a curiosity for understanding the business
  • High attention to detail, organization and process.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a strong ability to offer suggestions and improvements to process and work effectively.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • High level of confidentiality, discernment and judgment.
  • Ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needs.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, work under pressure and consistently make deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to continuously acquire new competencies and accept new challenges.
  • Strong communication, oral and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leaders and external business partners.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese communication.
