Sourcing Manager (Houseware / Furniture)

Our client is a US buying office who is looking for a Sourcing Manager to look after Houseware / Furniture product. A new team set up in Shenzhen.

This person will lead 3 staffs and report to VP of Sourcing.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the current market situation by performing competitive analysis to form the best sourcing strategy
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve a good purchase price with the right quality standard
• Grow the sourcing base on a continuous basis and able to form strong business partnership with the vendors
• Develop relationship with buyers and propose new items where applicable
• Participate in ad hoc projects when required

To succeed in this key role, you will have at least 10 years experience in sourcing for Houseware / Furniture.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in any disciplines, preferably in Supply Chain Management / any business subjects
• Fluent in English
• Able to work in fast pace environment
• Strong analytical skills and independent
