This role provides frontline support by resolving customers' problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting. It is a customer-facing role that installs, services, maintains and modifies medical technologies at customer sites, primarily in the clinical environment.
The incumbent uses critical thinking to resolve issues within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action to rapidly repair equipment.
This position is a new role, created to support the roll-out of a new, cutting edge robotic product with both diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities. Due to the fact that this is the 1st time to market, the responsible person will be required to think beyond just service, troubleshooting and repair, and be involved in the instqallation planning and execution.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with either robotic or related capital diagnostic or therapeutic equipment
- Strong electronics and computer / software related insights
- Proven critical thinking, problem solving and cross-functional communication skills
