A rapidly growing start-up business under a well-reputable group is looking for a Hong Kong base Strategy Senior Manager/ Director to cope with their expansion in the Greater Bay Area.

Directly report into the President, this is a newly created individual contributor role. Act as an in-house strategic business consultant for their China business, key responsibilities include and not limited to:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders including general management across different business units, functions and location, primarily China, to formulate corporate development strategy and strategic business plans
  • Work alongside with internal and external stakeholders to conduct market researches, extract insights to recommend new business development opportunities
  • Formulate business strategy, develop business proposal, conduct white space analysis and feasibility studies to evaluate new business development or market entry project opportunities
  • Initiate, drive and support projects on an ad hoc basis

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related disciplines
  • Track record providing consulting services for sizable healthcare service, life science, pharmaceutical, insurance companies within the Greater Bay Area, especially Southern China, is a must
  • 3-5 years strategic consulting experience with well-reputable management consulting firm is required
  • Some in-house business consulting experience would be ideal
  • New business development, corporate strategic planning, white space identification, feasibility studies development, competitor analysis experience is essential
  • Agile, inquisitive, assertive, clear-minded, energetic, result-driven with a can-do and growing mindset
  • Process superb presentation, communications, project management and multi-senior stakeholders management skills
  • Ready to take challenges and deal with ambiguity and tight timeline with high independence
  • Close to native in Mandarin and English, written and verbally
  • Frequent travel to China will be expected
