A well-known European consumer goods company is looking for a Senior Logistics Manager to join their Hong Kong office.
This is a newly created global role where you will be managing a small team in driving logistics process improvement and standardization across all of the company's major points of origin globally.
You will be the key person leading discussions with global logistics service providers and supply chain leads in the various origin clusters on identifying best practices, developing process adjustments and subsequently overseeing their implementation.
You will also be working closely with the senior leadership team in devising various origin operational improvement initiatives and defining the overall strategic road map for origin operations globally.
The successful candidate will ideally be coming from a retail / consumer goods / FMCG background and have had overall logistics and 3PL responsibilities. Ideally you will have worked in a regional or global role before and have an excellent track record in engaging and collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders globally / regionally as well as with external logistics service providers.
