(Senior) IT Business Analyst / Project Specialist

Our client is a well-known company in Europe and have a sizeable team in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a business analyst/project specialist to join their team for in-house team to assist IT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Be an IT business partner and serve as the strategic interface between IT and assigned Business Area for business technology strategy development, demand management and solution discovery
• Partner with business key stakeholders to define opportunities, identify and assess projects / changes based on predefined criteria (e.g. return on investment, productivity, compliance)
• Perform business analysis, business requirement documentation and process mapping
• Conduct testing, installation, configuration, upgrades, rollout, user training and user support of business applications where necessary
• Develop project plans, project status reports, budgets, risk reports and other project management related deliverables
• Fulfil project manager role for small to medium sized IT projects
• Day to day liaise with business units and system vendors on requirements specification, system development, application support and other project activities
• Perform problem analysis and resolution for issues on company's business applications
• Other ad hoc tasks as assigned by (Sr.) Managers IT

Requirement:

• Degree holder in IT, Supply Chain or Business-related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in system implementation or IT project management gained in sizable organization (Sourcing/Trading/Buying/Supply Chain related industry is a plus)
• Sound interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, presentation and report writing skills
• Experience with IT software or project implementation (PLM, SCM or Finance IT solutions is preferred)
• Knowledge in DevOps and/or Agile framework is preferred
• Experience in Robotic Process Automation (UiPath, Power Automate), BI reporting (Tableau, Power BI)
• Proficient in SQL language
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Good Command of English
• Proactive and result-oriented business approach
• Excellent communications and presentation skills, team player
• Attention to details and good organizational, coordination and planning as well as problem-solving skills
• Adaptability, flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced work environment
