Senior Associate/AVP, Equity Research - Consumer Staples

Our client, a market leader in its industry with a strong presence in Asia, is seeking a Senior Associate/AVP to join their Equity Research team to focus on the Consumer Staples sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a minimum of 5 to 8 years' of equity research experience within the designated sector.

Responsibilities:

• Writing research reports, including company initiations, industry thought pieces, and earning recaps
• Sourcing alternative data sets and simplifying and summarizing relevant industry and company information for inclusion in research reports
• Conducting proprietary research evaluating the competitive landscape, analyzing industry and company news
• Creating and maintaining relationships with industry contacts
• Helping senior analyst prepare for marketing events and conferences

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of equity research experience with a focus on Consumer Staples
• Strong knowledge in designated sector and current market conditions
• Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful
• Ability to function independently while maintaining a collegial and collaborative approach to working with other team members
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
