Regional FP&A Director (MNC)

Our client is a leading player in the industry with international presence with over 100 years of history. They are now further expanding their team to cope with their aggressive development plan. We are assisting them to look for an FP&A Director to join their successful business.

Position Responsibilities

  • Report to the Global Head of FP&A and lead a team of 3
  • Act as a business partner to define business strategies and translate into improvement measures with controlling and steering concepts developed
  • Provide support to drive different projects including but not limited to M&A, divestment, investment and efficiency improvement projects
  • Define short-term financial plans and long-term financial targets based on business strategies
  • Develop and enhance performance monitoring systems and reporting tools
  • Responsible for the accuracy of financial information within the organization and with regards to external reporting requirement
  • Coordinate the capex planning process and work closely with Global capex team to ensure project submission process is properly managed, support economic evaluation and adequate documentation
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to support management in monitoring capex spend
  • Perform risk management - including assessment, regular risk reporting / tracking as well as consultancy with regard to risk management matters

Position Requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting & Finance or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in MNCs, strong background in planning and controlling with in depth knowledge of finance and accounting system
  • Team management experiences and prior Regional/ Global exposure is a MUST
  • Solid knowledge in financial reporting and analysis, strong analytical skills and critical thinking, capable of examining and analyzing financial and management information with business acumen
  • Detail orientated, with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communications, presentation skills, interpersonal skills with a team-playing spirit
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with flexible personality
  • Attention to details and good organizational, coordination and planning as well as problem solving skills
  • High level of computer literacy: MS office and Exchange, advance Excel knowledge
  • Fluency in English is a MUST
