Responsibilities

• Develop effective quality control processes to ensure products adhere to the defined quality and compliance standards while meeting or exceeding customer expectations for overall quality
• Perform technical evaluations including quality requirements, specifications, designs and procedures
• Creat new product Qualification plans for new programs.
• Work closely with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers to ensure meet quality standards
• Engage in product failure investigations in the new product development stage, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive actions
• Develop strategies to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity
• Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
• Engage in the supplier selection process and maintain certification programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering/manufacturing engineering/electrical engineering or other technical disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years of product development/ quality experience
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma, Green or Black Belt a plus
