Senior Merchandiser (Bag/ Suitcase)

Our client is a well-established EU retailer, who is looking for a Senior Merchandiser to join their rapidly growing team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Support in executing sourcing strategy for designated product category
• Develop and deliver ASO strategies
• Sourcing and manage supplier performance and ensure qualified with company's requirements
• Conduct factory visit for product development and maintain supplier's engagement
• Administrate NPD and update repeat items offer
• Manage competitive tender submission for designated product category
• In charge of order processing and artwork development
• Monitor order management process and ensure appropriate timeline
• Coordinate with internal teams for quality and delivery issue
• Supervise subordinate(s) on daily operations and support sourcing strategies

Requirements:

• Tertiary education with a minimum of 4 years' experience in merchandising, experience in bag/ suitcase items, preferably from sourcing/ buying office.
• Experienced in product and project development, follow up and negotiation
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, proactive, and open-minded
• Good command of business English and Mandarin, both spoken and written
• Well-organized, detailed-minded
• Good command of MS Office
• Travel if necessary
