Media and Content Manager (Insurance)

Our client is an European Insurance Company and they are looking for a high calibre in communications with strong writing and content management skills as well as experience in dealing with senior executives.

Job Description

• To manage the editorial content calendar and communications project management, tracking and reporting;
• To build and maintain the internal repository of communications collateral such as fact sheets, exec bios, media statements, key message document, speeches, speaker briefs award submissions etc;
• To work closely with Group and BU Communications as well as external agency partners to support delivery of the communications programme across mainstream and trade media as well as company's owned-channels (LinkedIn, intranet, social media);
• To gather and collate data from various internal and vendor partners to track agreed communication metrics and KPI's;
• To manage the rollout of social media content, working closely with Group Digital Marketing, including potential paid campaigns;
• To identify and secure relevant speaking opportunities, develop executive briefing notes and promote company's participation;
• To identify and manage the submission process for Technology related awards;
• Copywriting/content development.

Key requirements:

• Degree holder in English, Communications or Journalism is preferred;
• At least 8 years of experience in communications, PR, content management having worked in the financial services or Technology industry;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to tell a story;
• Ability to work in fast-paced, agile organisation to manage multiple priorities;
• Exceptional project management experience with a track record of meeting deadlines and priorities;
• Excellent writing/editorial skills with proven portfolio. Experience working in finance related content is a plus;
• Native English speaker is mandatory.
