Our client is a premium FMCG food and beverage manufacturer and brand principal backed by a Chinese investment company who wants to set up their international hub in Hong Kong. They are looking for a high caliber Marketing Manager to develop brand identity as well as formulate and executive marketing plan through key account and on-trade channels for Asia markets with Hong Kong as a start.

Report into the Deputy GM, being an individual contributor this role will be responsible for the following,

  • Develop marketing strategies in line with business and marketing objectives to ensure maximizing annual sales and profitability target and identifying opportunities to work collaboratively to drive sales and exposure of products and brands
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on brief, on time and within budget
  • Lead and manage the production and execution of marketing and communications plans through ATL/BTL campaigns, including and not limited to press release, TV, OTV, Outdoor, Print, Digital campaigns and other platforms as relevant
  • Partner closely with Headquarter, relevant external and internal stakeholders on product development to ensure timely and effective launch of new brands, products and packaging
  • Manage the communication of timely and relevant information with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Conduct consumer research studies to support business developments and collect and analyze trade and competitive information timely
  • Consolidate marketing calendar and oversee the control of the marketing budget and report monthly for regular reviews
  • Develop Marketing ROI documents/proposals and complete post-campaign analysis and reporting
  • Assist in other ad hoc projects and tasks as required

Successful candidate should possess:

  • University graduate with major in Business and Marketing
  • At least 8 years relevant experience with managerial and supervisory role in food and drinks related consumer products field with proven successful track record
  • Strong project management skills to drive ideas and opportunities through to completion and measure return on investment
  • Strong track record in digital and retail marketing and budget management skills
  • Persuasive advocate with capacity to build consensus, drive action, and produce favorable results
  • Highly resourceful, self-motivated, positive, adaptable with entrepreneurial and can-do mindset
  • Very comfortable with adjusting business direction and targets according to market and consumer needs
  • Excellent oral and written communicator in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must
