Logistics Specialist (Tendering and pricing focussed)

Our client is an US leading company for apparel who is now looking for a Logistics Specialist to join their growing team in HK.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for logistics cost modelling, prepare routine forecast and budget
• Manage shipment cost and margin
• Monitor 3PL and forwarders' performance and ensure service level agreement are met
• Negotiate contract terms with service providers
• Analyze market trend provide allocation and operation strategy
• Develop guidance on routing and Supply Chain strategy
• Provide support in RFI and RFQ, financial and performance clauses, metrics, terms and rebates or penalties to ensure best bid among vendors
• Forecast and coordinate demand and supply planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Logisitcs, Supply Chain preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in logistics procurement/ pricing/ tender management
• Solid knowledge about import and export cost and related market insights
• Proficient computer skills MS Excel - Vlookup, Pivot Table
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese) and English
