My client is one of the sizeable insurers in Hong Kong, looking for a high-calibre candidate to support finance operation. The candidate MUST have the solid experience in handling receivable, or credit control-related activities.

What you will do:

  • Manage the daily insurance operation i.e. unallocated cash, overdue premium, bad debts
  • Chase overdue transactions and in the meantime drive communications and solutions with the team
  • Manage the bank and balance sheet items reconciliation, timely clearing of receivables, suspense account and unreconciled items
  • Prepare monthly ageing report and general monthly statement
  • Propose and assist in the documentation and implementation of procedures and system to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency

What you're expected to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • Qualified accountant is an asset but not a must
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in receipt & payment / credit control function in insurance industry
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
