Indirect Purchasing Manager

ConnectedGroup is partnering with a global leading FMCG company to search for an Indirect Procurement Manager.

Major responsibilities

• Manage various indirect categories (experienced in marketing procurement is a must)
• Be the main contact point to communicate with Global buyers and Region buyers, and support any initiative from local/region/global
• Support the vendor onboarding, management, and support to solve any supply issues if any
• Lead and drive both strategic and tactical sourcing activities and drive category strategies

Major requirements

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in indirect categories (from FMCG would have advantages)
• Good understanding and knowledge of the major sub-categories within Marketing
• Solid people management experience
• Experience in dealing with global and regional buyers
• Experience in transforming business needs into a Procurement approach through management of purchasing for at least one spending category
