We are representing a leading manufacturer to look for a Human Resources Director to play a key role in their Corporate office in Hong Kong.

Directly report to and support the HR Vice President to:

  • Develop and optimize people system and ensure the best practices are compiled while achieving operations KPIs and company objective
  • Provide HR advices and support on related Executive Committee projects and issues
  • Lead and maintain the people system excellence and consistency of various business units
  • Set objectives and follow up actions for the operating plan for the people system and service development
  • Propose and maintain people structure, competencies requirements by defining and implementing appropriate retention and recruitment plan
  • Create and maintain highly engaged working environment and periodically review essential functional policies and work procedures
  • Measure function's performance and by establishing and monitoring KPIs and systems against agreed objectives
  • Lead to identify and align the people core standard and partner with different business units to provide expert advice and facilitation support for HR related projects
  • Provide guideline and feedback to maximize employees' capabilities and performance
  • Create and implement mentoring relationship, career development program and succession plan based on the talent potential and business need
  • Engage with recruitment partners on confidential talent searches

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field in renowned universities
  • At least 10 years' Asia regional and/or global HR management experience within globally sizable multinationals; manufacturing industry experience is preferable
  • Solid knowledge of Hong Kong employment ordinance, tax regulations and related regulatory requirements; familiar with employment laws across multiple countries within Asia is ideal
  • Charismatic, logical and structural thinker with efficient, assertive, and humble communication style and excellent presentation skill
  • Agile and independent HR leader with strong initiative and good will to contribute to achieve company objectives
  • Track record in change management and HRIS transformation and implementation
  • Native in English while fluency in Chinese is a plus
