Our client is a global organization with multiple brands, distribution, franchising and licensing businesses. They are looking for a Regional HR Director to build a company culture and drive change to motivate, empower and enhance employees' performance for their complex and diverse business to grow rapidly in Asia Pacific.

In order to transfer HR function into a driven and customer-oriented business team, this incumbent is expected to:

  • Lead the HR function and manage hands-on HR initiatives across offices within Asia
  • Ensure a smooth, proactive and profitable operation of the company's HR team
  • Engage the Executive Team to drive change of the company culture and management style, balancing ambitious goals and available resources
  • Closely engage with stakeholders to lead and enhance organization design, team structure and job descriptions under rapidly changing environment
  • Advance HR process and procedure in talent development, employer branding and recruitment, compensation and benefit, performance management and HR operational transformation
  • Organize company-wide activities to maintain a positive and driven working environment
  • Organize innovative activities for both new joiners and existing employees to Increase employee engagement and promote a work-life integration culture that is aligned with company values
  • Ensure company action and decisions are complied with employment-related ordinances and compliance in Hong Kong and China
  • Review and enhance C&B processes to ensure smooth payroll operation with required data reporting for management need

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience in which at least 5 years at managerial grade
  • Proven track record to drive business improvement and cultural transformation by HR strategies
  • Highly self-driven and resourceful influencer with innovative and entrepreneurial mindset and ability to drive change
  • Ability to influence and engage closely with the C-suite and identify required need to change
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
