A rare and unique opportunity to build and develop a robust client portfolio from scratch, comprising Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals and Family Offices with interest to invest, has arisen. Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to join a growing team of Family Office Specialists. The successful candidate will be involved in all facets of the process, including business development, generating leads, event management, partnership development, and client servicing. The ideal individual will be highly driven, resourceful, and have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience managing relationships with UHNW individuals and/or Family Offices.


  • Build and main relationships with UHNW and Family Office investors
  • Generate and qualify new leads and be resourceful in using multiple approaches to penetrate prospective accounts
  • Engage specialists and partners to address clients' needs
  • Attend conferences, events, and seminars for marketing opportunities
  • Conduct duty visits across Southern China
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by generating, managing and proactively advising for a Ultra-High-Net-Worth portfolio of clients
  • Follow up on enquiries proactively
  • Develop and drive marketing plans as well as engagement plans


  • Bachelor's degree holder in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years' of experience managing relationships with UHNW clients and/or Family Offices would be essential
  • Strong business development and project management kills
  • Impeccable interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Sound knowledge of financial industry and current market conditions
  • Interactive skills in order to understand client needs and take action with the appropriate solutions
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the local regulatory requirements of the investment advisory business and apply this knowledge appropriately
  • Willing to travel
