Group Finance Controller

Our client is a well established multi-national conglomerate. They are currently looking for a Group Finance Director to join their growing team. The position will be directly reporting to the CFO.

Responsible:

• Responsible for Group's consolidation and site financial reporting, management reporting, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting and transfer pricing
• Manage the Group consolidation process to produce a single set of consolidated financial results for the Group
• Overseeing the elimination of transactions and balances
• Dealing with any issues that arise during the month-end and year-end financial consolidation processes
• Liaising with Business Units and Group companies internationally to provide guidance and advice on technical accounting and Group policy requirements
• Coordinate with other departments in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financials, forecasts, and budget
• Prepare ad-hoc management analysis and reports

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• HKICPA, CPA or ACCA qualification
• 10+ years of progressively responsible consolidation and financial reporting experience - gained in international companies
• Big4/2nd tier auditing experience is preferred
• Broad IFRS knowledge; multi-currency consolidation experience
• Extensive experience with ERP systems
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment and flexibility to work to tight and demanding deadlines
