English Teacher (Native Speaker)

Responsibilities:

• Teach English to children aged 3 to 16 years old
• Create and prepare lesson plans for various age groups and skill levels to promote English literacy, creativity and learning
• Keep track of students' learning developments via regular participation and performance assessments to ensure students' progress
• Set up and lead regular teacher/parent student-assessment conferences to the benefit of students and ensure good communication with parents
• Cultivate a love for reading and learning and encourage curiosity and continued improvement
• Perform any other duties assigned by management
• Participate in teaching training sessions and stay up to date with current teaching methods, practices and any new knowledge in the field
• Be active in the school community, REACH and other charity events

Requirements:

• Native English Speaker who can speak fluent Cantonese
• University graduate
• TESOL, CELTA or TEFL certificate holder or have at least 2 years of teaching experience
• Creative, enthusiastic and compassionate teacher who enjoys working with kids
• Proficient in teaching English as a second language and promoting reading among students
• Highly organised with efficient time management skills and able to work independently and in a team
• Work well under pressure and able to take on multiple tasks at once and prioritize them by importance and relevance
• MUST work on Saturdays and does not requite work visa sponsorship
• Keeps a positive, respectful attitude and passionate for learning and sharing your knowledge with others
