Our client is an Asia headquartered International Group offering risk management solutions such as Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) services. This is a key position in the corporate team with a global scope to launch and build the industry leading services marketplace.

This role will be responsible for the following,

  • Be the P&L holder of the online business/ marketplace
  • Define and tailor suitable eCommerce strategy with the objective of achievement business targets
  • Conduct online business analysis, market analysis and competitor analysis for international markets
  • Develop business insights, new product launch and marketing activation plans to achieve business objectives and local consumer needs
  • Nurture and optimize the marketplace collection in terms of brand awareness and sell-through, and achieve growth objectives
  • Develop the partnership/supplier strategy for the e-commerce platform
  • Oversee all e-business activities, ranging from website development, brand marketing, supplier sourcing, e-operations & logistics management and overall online sales profitability
  • Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to measure performance of the brands and products of the suppliers
  • Work closely with cross-functions such as marketing, operations, logistics, finance and HR to ensure business continuity
  • Continuously contribute new ideas on optimization of supplier/partnership development to the business aiming to achieve business needs
  • Support ad-hoc projects and e-business activities as assigned

Successful caliber shall possess,

  • Bachelor degree holder in Marketing, e-Business or related disciplines
  • Over 8 years relevant working experience in eCommerce or related industry required, of which at least 2 years' experience working in a marketplace, and 4 years' experience working in the Europe and/or US markets
  • Good understanding about the TIC industry is mandatory
  • Track record in developing e-Commerce platform for multiple markets from scratch
  • Proven achievement in consistently achieving performance targets with capability in managing multiple projects with pressing timeline and resources
  • Strategic yet hands-on, driven, agile and target-oriented e-business leader with exceptional commercial sense
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and influential skills
  • Highly communicative with strong business acumen, leadership, problem solving, excellent multi-stakeholders, multi-priorities management skills
  • Natively fluent in English, while Mandarin and French a plus
