Database Administrator Manager, Financial Services

A well-established Financial Institution with aggressive growth planning is currently expanding their IT infrastructure team in Hong Kong in order to support their digital transformation program. This DBA Specialist will be responsible for Microsoft SQL Database management and support on cloud computing

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain MSSQL database servers and process
• Provide in-depth support, troubleshooting for MS SQL database
• Perform database design, documentation, implementation, configuration, performance tuning, monitoring and consistent maintenance
• Build database scheme, tables, procedures, permissions and encryptions
• Deploy and oversee database backup, restore, clustering, mirroring, replication and failover processes
• Develop and implement the recovery procedure for all databases
• Work closely with other technical specialists across IT functions for cloud migration

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• More than 5-year working experience in on Microsoft SQL database within financial services
• Familiar with windows server
• Knowledgeable on overall IT infrastructure
• Creative, innovative and well-organised personnel with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, independent, diligent and able to work under pressure and overtime to execute projects
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
