Our client is a well-known European buying office in HK and they are looking for a CSR Manager to look after the compliance function. This person will lead a small team and reporting to the Compliance Director.
Key responsibilities include:
·Provide continuous education to the factories to ensure they fully understand the ethical compliance process
·Oversee the third party audit companies and review and discuss the audit result
·Conduct shadow audit to assure the validity and credibility of audits conducted by third party audit companies in HK
·Work closely with sourcing team to ensure social compliance strategies are well understood and applied
·Build an effective working relationships with internal stakeholders
·Act as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders by conducting extensive research
·Advise on emerging opportunities and risk so as to be able to make effective decisions on responsible sourcing
To succeed in this key role, you will have at least 7 years experience compliance experience.
·Excellent communication skills
·Good level of English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required
·Able to work independently and open to traveling (Around 30%-40% including China and South East Asia countries)
·Solid understand of social compliance is required
·Previous experience working in European buying office is a Plus
