A sizable global financial institute is looking for a high caliber talent management and leadership development specialist to drive and implement corporate's leadership capabilities framework, talent management related initiatives and digital organization effectiveness projects for their Hong Kong entity.

Being an individual contributor, some key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with HR Business Partners to drive functional calibrations and organizational review to identify hi-po
  • Work with functional leaders on employees' progression and development plans at all levels, from early career talent to experienced leaders
  • Develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures relating to talent management
  • Design talent programs and develop talent analytics measurables
  • Facilitate development-related communication and provide feedback accordingly
  • Formulate and execute organization effectiveness strategies in talent acquisition, talent development and management
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to conduct talent development needs analysis and conduct competency mapping
  • Partner with business leaders to drive, executive, monitor and improve effectiveness of leadership programs
  • Facilitate discussion related to performance management, talent development and organization effectiveness initiatives

Successful candidates should possess:

  • University graduate plus at least 15 years HR experience and at least 8 years of talent management and leadership development experience within sizable corporates
  • Strategic thinker with track record in multi-stakeholders and multi-project management with limited time and resources
  • Holistic and can-do mindset, able to translate business acumen into talent management strategies and action plans
  • Excellent presentation, communication, influential and training delivery skills
  • Creative, organized, structured, detail-oriented with growth mindset
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese is mandatory
