Reporting to the Head of Data Analytics, an outstanding position has arisen for an experienced data analytics professional to Health and Wellness business unit.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Drive strategic direction for the Health and Wellness proposition and programs by using data
  • Accountable for profitability of Health & Wellness business through number and data analytics to maintain the company's competitive advantage in Health & Wellness
  • Act as Health Data Scientists and Health Informaticists to research, analyse and articulate meaningful insights using health, claims and product data to accelerate business growth
  • Actively monitor performance with conduct diagnostics, analyses, feeds insights and suggest interventions to relevant teams and departments to make improvements
  • Build models to address business problems and presenting information using data visualization techniques
  • Develop and continues enhance business and claims dashboard. Actively monitor performance with live dashboard, conduct diagnostics, analyses, feeds insights and suggest interventions to relevant teams and departments to make improvements.
  • Continues to uplift the usage and awareness of data driven insights for business, claims and provider management

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree graduate (or equivalent) in finance, mathematics, economics, healthcare, computer science or statistics with at least 8 years of experience and 4 years of experience in healthcare or insurance/FS industry
  • Thorough knowledge of health data, advanced analytics and languages to analyse large data sets from multiple data sources for ad hoc and automated reporting
  • Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, ability to filter out big data into actionable and understandable actions
  • Experience with Python, SAS, or other database query tools, Tableau, Power BI, R desired
  • Ability to filter out big data into actionable and understandable actions, familiar with predictive modelling, regression analysis, AI, machine learning
  • Must be skilled in clearly articulating data and reports in a written format
  • Agile mindset to deal with a constantly changing macroeconomic setting and customer behaviours
