A leading global retailer is looking to hire an assistant project manager to help manage and facilitate various key projects to aid business performance and strategic planning for the future. This role aims to help further grow the already highly well-established and successful business in Asia.
Reporting to the business unit's director, you will be responsible for supporting the performance and future of the mentioned project. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing similar large-scale global projects, and have excellent people and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage timeline and content of involved projects
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather updates and progress status
  • Provide key results and data to business unit directors
  • Inform business leaders on potential issues and progress of assigned tasks
  • Monitor and supervise various aspects of projects and jump in to provide direct assistance in order to execute deliverables on time
  • Help define the goals of various projects to ensure they are achievable and feasible
  • Coordinate with various business stakeholder's and define their involvement in such projects
  • Define accountability and dependencies across the business, help set up milestones and action plans
  • Draw key findings across different meetings in order to keep every person accountable and progress status updated
  • Maintain regular meeting with various stakeholders and team, be the facilitator to drive results


Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in supply chain, finance, economics, engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years experience across project management positions
  • Must have experience of project management for retail or sourcing or supply chain companies
  • Project management professional certification preferred
  • Must have proven skills in writing, presenting with sound verbal and computer skills
  • Must be extremely well organised and able to work across multiple projects in an efficient manner
  • Must have excellent communication and people skills to work closely withs senior level stakeholders across the business
  • Be influential and build trustful partnerships
  • Excellent in all MS Office tools and software - including MS Project and smart sheets
  • Must speak and write excellent English, Cantonese is a plus
