Title: Assistant PR & Event Manager(Luxury, 30K)

Our client is a global jewellery eCommerce marketplace, and they are now looking for an Assistant PR & Event Manager to manage integrated PR related initiatives in order to cope with their global expansion.

Responsibilities:

PR & Media Relations

  • Develop and deliver a PR strategy for the brand to generate positive press coverage to drive awareness and sales.
  • Planning and implementing global press strategy
  • Work proactively to identify opportunities and secure positive coverage through features, new stories, and product placement across all target media, increasing editorial across our product offering
  • Day to day management of the PR agencies ensuring they are supported, challenged, and are kept up to date on the brand PR initiatives.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, fashion press and to represent the business at key industry events.
  • Plan and execute new collection presentations to the press and seasonal press events.

Events Management

  • Construct and prepare compelling Events & Experiential guidelines that relay a strong brand message.
  • Plan and lead the executions of global events for major brand image moments supporting local markets with detailed plans to ensure consistency of image, message and maximize returns based on set objectives.
  • Propose the most appropriate experiential events and messages in line with corporate strategies
  • Coordinate execution with local markets and vendors within the planned schedule and budgets
  • Work closely with local PR agency to ensure consistent and proper implementation of the global communication strategy at local scale
  • Control and close monitoring of the Marketing & PR budget and follow-up of local budgets
  • Coordinate various initiatives in line with the product introductions calendar

Requirements:

  • BA degree or equivalent in Public Relations or related field
  • At least 4 years' PR experience within the luxury fashion and/or watches & jewelleries industry, or prior experience working renowned marketing agencies serviced luxury retail brands
  • Have established relationships with publishers and Editors across Asia
  • Passion for luxury fashion & arts industry, with a good sense of aesthetics and sensitive to trends
  • Proactive, responsive, and independent, strong team-player
  • Confident to present to the management and directly engage with external vendors globally,
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong command of Microsoft office suite
  • Flexible to travel globally as needed
