Responsibilities:

  • Communicate potential consumption plan at yarn level to suppliers
  • Draw up time and action plan for each parties to align
  • Work closely with various teams to ensure consumption, planning and booking details are confirmed and validated
  • Draw up validated details in terms of quantity, colour and materials for top management approval
  • Provide key details such as greige availability and/or demand & supply to internal teams
  • Manage inventory regularly and accurately
  • If shortages occur, follow up accordingly with internal and external teams to prioritise orders accordingly

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in business management, supply chain or textiles or related discipline
  • 5 years minimum experience in relevant position in the garment industry with material purchasing, management, planning responsibilities
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking and writing skills
  • Strong skills using PLM, Excel (must be strong with V-lookup & pivot tables)
  • Must be able to face high pressure dealing with deadlines
  • Must have good data interpretation skills along with planning and time-management skills
