Our client is a global fashion brand. They are hiring an eCommerce Director to cope with the rapid expansion of business.


Objective
:
Develop and drive the expansion strategies and growth plans of Ecommerce in APAC, along with strengthening the brand.

Job Duties:

  • Implement and adopt a consumer-centric approach in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver a seamless shopping experience by executing and supporting an omni-channel strategy
  • Lead and build the APAC Ecommerce organization to achieve overall business objectives and financial result
  • Define the APAC Ecommerce strategies and key capabilities to drive sustainable channel growth focusing on topline growth, profitability and online market share
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to manage all aspects of Ecommerce business including buying and planning, platform management ,financial planning, digital marketing, operations and omni-channels

  • Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact for APAC Ecommerce to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to deliver omni-channel experience in all aspects of consumer touchpoint
  • Manage all aspects of reporting and analytics related to APAC Ecommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Drive operational excellence in the whole Ecommerce value chain from a consumer-centric point of view
  • Coach, train and motivate a cohesive and high-performance team of internal members and external partners to effectively develop Ecommerce solutions and grow the business
  • Build, direct and transform the team structure and member capabilities to meet the business model and requirements
  • Monitor and follow-up on key contractual terms/commitments with external partners to ensure the delivery of excellence business result
  • Drive periodical update meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Stay on top of Ecommerce market development and trend
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic direction for the Ecommerce function and strategy
  • Provide expertise on current Ecommerce industry best practices and identify new areas of Ecommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking

Requirement:

  • Experience in managing P&L and forecasting responsibilities on an online retail landscape
  • Minimum 15 years of working experience while 5 years in an eCommerce landscape
  • Proven record of cost control achievements and meeting budgets
  • Commercially astute always looking for ways to maximize business returns
  • High level of numeracy, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • High level of online market knowledge
  • Fluent Cantonese & English is mandatory
  • Experience within a fast growing and dynamic business would be a distinct advantage
