Our client is a global retail chain with iconic brands. They are looking for an Agile Coach to lead the company to drive and implement Agile methodology into the business. Coach and mentor executives and team members across the business in the Agile ways of working, Agile principles and related mindset. You will define the transform on how the business works to improve quality, efficiency and flow of change delivery.

As Agile Coach, you will be responsible to develop and create relevant frameworks for lean delivery, continuous improvement and structure across Agile. Other responsibilities included:

  • Improve teams by increasing collaboration, innovation and introducing techniques that promote adaptability and flexibility in the face of unpredictable circumstance;
  • Educate employees at all levels on Agile principles, providing them with tools for implementing the process in their own work;
  • Provide training sessions and teach valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of Agile methodologies;
  • To guide teams into the Agile methodology, providing employees with feedback and means of improvement catalyzing organizational growth and answering questions;
  • Provide hands-on support to all employees, collaborating with people across widely varying levels and roles, leading teams toward further understanding and adoption of Agile as well as overall company growth and improvement;
  • Define and design a strategy for the company to adopt Agile, from the introduction of Agile and employee education, to fostering teams and cultures that practice Agile, to sustaining agile methodologies and continually offering strategies for improvement;

To succeed in this role, you must have a successful and proven track record as an Agile Coach in driving an organization change. Other requirements included:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent;
  • Scrum Coach/ Scrum Master certifications;
  • Exceptional communication skills in connecting people to purpose and outcome, a preference to transparency and openness;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to empathize and create high levels of trust
  • Knowledge of and ability to analyze the metrics key to measuring high performance in delivery teams;
  • Coaching, mentoring, negotiation and influencing skills commensurate with leading organizational change;
  • Ability to connect a continuous learning community across Kmart Group, and to establish and maintain a connection to the Agile community in the industry;
  • Proficiency in Chinese and English;
