Accountant/ Senior Accountant (Straight big 4 is welcomed)

Our client is a globally recognized medical business with a huge office in Hong Kong. We are seeking a talented individual to join them as an Accountant/Senior Accountant to cope with the continually expanding business.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monitoring accounts, reviewing, and analysing documentation, transactions and reconciliation, managing legal entity month end closure and reporting process
• Perform accounting month end close procedures, run, and analyse financial reports
• Test, execute and document internal controls audit programs in accordance with SOX and Corporate policy
• Participate in formulation and execution of accounting guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Assist, test, or implement process streamlining, system improvements or workflow changes
• Liaise with local finance and BPO to identify and resolve incorrect journal entries, data anomalies, deviations from established procedures, and unusual issues
• Participate as a member of a project team and contribute to change management strategy
• Perform ad hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline with CPA qualification
• At least 3 years' audit experience in Big 4 or 5-years' experience in Commercial industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Practical knowledge in Hyperion/ JDE would be a bonus
• US GAAP, SOX 404 experience preferred
• Excellent command of English & Chinese, including Mandarin
• Proactive, meticulous, multi-tasking, and able to work independently, efficiently, and under pressure in a demanding and fast pace environment
